Why do I post things here? (Are you curious?)
Sometimes when I have thoughts and make little notes (that I then tend to lose) about things I think I might want to post here, I wonder: “Why do I want to post this to our blog?” So I decided I want to tell you why I want write things here.
I realize there are three main reasons:
- My wife and I do the work we do because we believe we can contribute to helping people have better lives. (We teach people how to improve their relationships with others in their lives - especially with “significant” partners.) Over the years we have learned many ways to help relationships be deeper, more loving and intimate, more fun, (and more) and we get a lot of joy teaching these things to others. This blog gives us a chance to pass on little hints and “food for thought” to people for free, and we feel good to be able to do that.
- The informal style of this blog allows people to get a sense of “who we are”. While we (usually Priyatama) write articles for our newsletter (http://intimacyworks.com/signup.htm), here we have a chance to not only give you “information”, but also let you know about what we feel and believe.
- We really want to hear from you - your thoughts, feelings, comments, opinions, and this is the place where you can “talk to us” (and the others who read this blog).
So that’s why we created this blog forum, and why I write things here. I hope you get value from what you read here. And please comment on what you read. We can all learn from the perspective and words of others. (And it’s nice to hear that others share our feelings, difficulties, hopes and dreams. Nice to know “We aren’t alone”.)
